Founded by G. Ganga Devi Ganesh
Chitthi Spice Sdn. Bhd. was founded on 7 February 2022 in Nibong Tebal, Penang, by Ganga Devi Ganesh — an entrepreneur who stepped into spice manufacturing with no prior industry experience. She invested almost RM500,000 of her personal savings, after completing the PenMentor entrepreneurship programme, to build a factory that could produce healthier, honest spice blends without compromising on authentic taste.
What began with her and her husband, P. Sivanesan, hand-producing just six products has grown into a team of 6 full-time staff — plus seasonal workers during festive periods — turning out nearly 100 spice and food products, and up to 800kg of spice powder every day.

Chitthi Spice Is Born
Founder G. Ganga Devi Ganesh launches the factory in Nibong Tebal with just 6 products: chicken & fish curry powder, chilli, turmeric, black and white pepper.
Halal Certified
Halal certification secured fast, followed by MeSTI food-safety certification from the Ministry of Health.
Rapid Growth
The range expands to nearly 60 spice products and 40 additional food products — snacks, flours, herbal drinks and more.
Going Global
Producing up to 800kg of spice powder daily, with a trial shipment to Canada complete and interest from Mauritius and Saudi Arabia.
